Humberto Poblete-Bustamante

Humberto Poblete-Bustamante is a chilean painter currently working between Paris and Sicily. He essentially paints with oil, a thick painting of several different layers unique to Humberto’s way of painting, thus constituting in an abrupt and sensual geography on the surface of the canvas. A powerful way of painting that seeks to find its origins in basic, and even primitive forms. Humberto Poblete-Bustamante has exhibited in various countries such as France, Spain, Germany, UK, USA among others. His last shows were with Galeria Alegria, Spain (solo) and Galerie Julien Cadet, France (duo with Jordy Kerwick). He is currently preparing an important solo show at the CAB in Burgos, Spain for February 2022.
